Perform the following actions to unlock additional weapons.

• Pesticide Cannon / Tier 8 Rocket Launcher- Achieve Rank 8 with the Trooper Armor
• Pesticide Missile / Tier 8 Missile Launcher- Achieve Rank 8 with the Tactical Armor
• Pesticide Mortar / Tier 8 Grenade Launcher- Achieve Rank 8 with the Battle Armor
• Pesticide Rifle / Tier 8 Sniper Rifle - Achieve Rank 8 with the Jet Armor

These weapons will be available in the deployment screen (the shop) and are free of charge.

For the most part, they kill all swarm enemies with one hit, most Elite enemies with two, and all Boss Elite enemies with a half dozen hits (all values on Inferno difficulty).

Naturally, this includes players and AI bots -- so watch that blast range (all of them have one).

Deployable Platform (Earth Defense Force Insect Armageddon)

The Tactical Armor can use the radar to create a pillar you can step on (you can deploy up to five at once). This is a handy exploit for using the Tier 8 Pesticide Weapons.

Kill Tickers Easily with the Battle Armor Shock Shield (Earth Defense Force Insect Armageddon)

You can kill Tickers easily with the Battle Armor's Shock Shield (unlocked at Tier 2). Simply activate the Shock Shield ability when Tickers are close and a bolt of electricity will fry these small fry.

If a Ticker does latch onto you, use the Bug Blaster ability. When your Battle Armor animates into the blast, you are completely immune to damage.

Your character can sprint in all directions in Earth Defense Force Insect Armageddon. Sprinting while pointing the camera behind your soldier is handy for avoiding enemy attacks on Inferno mode.

If there are no more health pick-ups, and a player is on low-life, you may want to use friendly-fire to kill the player then revive him. Reviving a player restores him to their full health, and may be something to think about on the Inferno difficulty.

When taking a weapons box (or salvage box) in an Earth Defence Force Insect Armageddon online match, all players in the match get the weapon (press TRIANGLE or Y at the end to see salvaged weapons) regardless who picks up the box. The notification of what you get just doesn't appear on your screen, that's all.
