I believe the definition of a polite society is one that adheres to rules.

politeness n.
Synonyms: polite, mannerly, civil, courteous, genteel
These adjectives mean mindful of, conforming to, or marked by good manners. Polite and mannerly imply consideration for others and the adherence to conventional social standards of good behavior: "It costs nothing to be polite" (Winston S. Churchill). The child was scolded by his grandmother for not being more mannerly.
Civil
suggests only the barest observance of accepted social usages; it often means merely neither polite nor rude: If you can't be friendly, at least be civil.
Courteous
implies courtliness and dignity: "If a man be gracious and courteous to strangers, it shows he is a citizen of the world" (Francis Bacon)

polite

[puh-lahyt] Show IPA
adjective, politer, politest.
1.
showing good manners toward others, as in behavior, speech, etc.; courteous; civil: a polite reply.
2.
refined or cultured: polite society.

fun and polite..rules are NOT made to be broken, that is an  anarchist viewpoint. If you do not like the rules, you are certainly free to leave the society. no one is stopping you. ...lol without rules we are grunting beasts in a haven of mis-opportunity.

All members agree that rules are for the good and benefit of all. The term "rules are meant to be broken" is a fun term of phrase in some cultures and should never be taken literally by others.

Having fun while obeying rules go and always have gone hand in hand for the safety, welfare, benefit and enjoyment of all members of civilised society. I think as intelligent members of this forum we all understand the GE rules are here for our benefit. After all, we are all one big happy family.

Thank you admin for posting these for all GE members to see and implement. Let's all do as admin and manager lovegames wish and obey while having fun together in manager Ton's GE playground.

Most of the rules should be common sence!! Most of the rules go hand in hand of how you mix with society.

Great rules for all.  GE's LAW!! AND NO ONES ABOVE THE LAW!!!super
