Tutorial: Rules for Uploading TV and Movie Resources

These are the rules for TV/Movie uploads:

Considered 1 Upload :

3 shorties(20-30min)

2 standard(40-59)

1 movie length(over 60)

10 webisodes (or whatever to be over 60 min)

 

all Uploads must include:


One main pic

One additional pic(movies)

 

Under "description": submit a copy/pasted commentary

                TV series: with first episodes of each season uploaded

                 Movie: with each movie uploaded

 

Under "Title" :

Upload Quality (CAM, TS, DVDRip, TVRip, etc) and DPG Quality (DPG3 minimum)if you do not know the quality please say CAM/TS do not just write DVDRip..


Once a DVDRip version is uploaded, all lesser formats will be removed, and no new formats should be uploaded

 

Under "Links": one or more links each no larger than 500mb



warning: you must search for resource name prior to uploading. Do not just search one spelling/ look of the name. Sometimes it takes several tries...(change abbreviations, format, search one special word of the title...etc. There is no need for repeats if we are all careful..you can be saving yourself a lot of bandwith first!)

When I upload should I have all the items that are considered 1 upload
 or is it ok to upload 1 or to things each evening

Hey Brenda!

Webisodes are very short 'episodes' that have appeared on the web....such as Stephen King's 'N' and Macys' "wendy" thats i have uploaded before. The webisodes are less than 5 minutes each, broadcast on the web only : not TV or DVD etc.  A cultural medium that is growing even bigger.

When you upload here: whatever is considered 1 upload must be done at the same time. 1 Movie, 2 normal episodes, etc.

BECAUSE!!!! GE will usually have verified it by the next day( super good they are at verifying fast!!) and so you DO need the whole upload at once.
